5 day competition: the old timetable of the Swiss Championships has been slightly changed and extended to 5 days. For me, this works very well, as I was able to divide my races well into the 5 days. It started directly with 50m butterfly. I was able to qualify for the A-final. In the final, I swam to 3rd place with a time of 27.13s which is a personal best time. Also over the 4x100m relay we were able to achieve the 3rd place directly behind the swimming club Uster Wallisellen and Geneva. On the second day I swam 50m back. Here, too, I was able to qualify for the A-final and in the final on the 6th Advance rank with a time of 29.98s. In the evening we played the 4x200m relay and finished 3rd again.
On the third day it was quieter and I enjoyed a day off to prepare well for the last two. On Saturday the 4th day I swam 50m freestyle and 100m butterfly. 50m freestyle I was able to place myself again as 3rd with a long-awaited time of 25.90s. On 100m butterfly I swam to 7th place. On Sunday the last day was still 100m freestyle. Unfortunately, it was only enough for a 4th place here, but still with a best time 57.18s
On the whole, I'm a little proud of myself, because sometimes there were doubts. However, my results show me once again that I have made the right decision and that we are going in the right direction. I have the qualification of the WorldUniversityGames in my pocket and now you just have to hope that they will take place.
Next week the club championships will take place in Sursee.
